Workday Payroll Consultant (Absence & Time Tracking) - San Antonio, TX (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation and support experience, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to configure and optimize Workday HCM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Workday Payroll experience
Workday certified consultant preferred
Strong experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules
Hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, and post-production support
Knowledge of payroll processes, absence management, and time tracking best practices
Understanding of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements
Experience conducting workshops, user training, and client interactions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain complex HCM concepts to both technical and non-technical users

Responsibilities

Configure and support Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules
Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
Design and optimize time tracking and absence management processes
Support payroll configuration and validation activities
Conduct workshops, testing sessions, and end-user training
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Ensure seamless integration and system performance across HCM modules
Collaborate with stakeholders and functional teams throughout the project lifecycle

Preferred:

Experience with Workday implementation projects and support engagements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
