Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Applications Developer (OOD) to support the configuration, customization, development, and maintenance of the FASTDS-VS® Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application, including its six modules and additional subsystems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in object-oriented programming, SQL databases, application configuration, debugging, testing, and production support.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience working with SQL databases.

• Minimum 4+ years of object-oriented development experience using .NET, C#, Java, or VB.

• Experience in application development, configuration, customization, and enhancements.

• Knowledge of SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Experience with software debugging, application testing, and production support.

• Understanding of Agile and traditional software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Web Services and APIs.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Experience with application change requests, source control, and implementation documentation.
