This is a full-time onsite position at OFCC offices (30 W Spring St. 4th Floor, Columbus, OH)
Key skill for agency: Experience with legacy modernization projects and/or school facilities business .
This position will support the OFCC application development group in the modernization of CMW from Perl/MySQL to Java/React/MariaDB on an AWS platform. Day-to-Day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing and Developing Software - Writing clean, efficient code to build new applications or features that meet user and business needs. Full stack development.
- Testing and Quality Assurance Conduct unit tests, integration tests, system tests and debugging to ensure reliability. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with QA teams to maintain high standards of quality.
- Documentation - Writing clear documentation that explains how the code works, how APIs behave, and how systems are structured.
- Deployment and Support - Package and deploy modules to testing or production environments. Monitor applications after release and provide support when issues arise, ensuring smooth operation for users.
Mandatory Skills:
Java, React full stack development
