Hybrid two weeks onsite a month in either Westlake, TX or Jersey City, NJ

Our client seeks a seasoned business or systems analyst to support Middle Office Operations with a focus on derivative trade processing and collateral management. You will define clear requirements, configure Calypso, and partner with analysts and developers to deliver scalable solutions. You will apply strong analytical skills, communicate with business and technology stakeholders, and mentor team members while driving delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $85.00 to $105.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Middle Office Operations to define clear, testable requirements for financial applications.
  • Configure Calypso, including CATT tooling, to support derivative trade processing and collateral workflows.
  • Lead projects and coordinate delivery across analysts and developers.
  • Provide production and release support for microservices-based applications and integrations.
  • Analyze complex business and technical problems and propose complete solutions.
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions with business partners and technology stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and train less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with teams on trade processing, settlements, corporate actions, income collection, cash management, reconciliations, securities lending, and transfer agent control.

Experience Requirements:
  • 6+ years of business or systems analysis experience, preferably in financial services.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Calypso experience, including configuration.
  • Derivative trade processing and collateral management domain expertise.
  • Experience with Calypso Configuration and CATT tool.
  • Proven experience defining requirements and supporting financial applications.
  • Track record leading projects with cross-functional analysts and developers.
  • Experience mentoring and training team members.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Postman, Excel, SQL, and microservices-based applications (preferred).
  • Ability to understand application technology and software architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills with delivery of sophisticated technology projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners and technology.
  • Confidence conducting trade-off conversations with business partners.
  • Deep understanding of derivative products including money markets, credit derivatives, futures, options, and centrally cleared products.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or Finance.
