Summary

Title: 2D Layout Engineer – Factory & Site Design

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Long Term

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in factory layout planning, site planning, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems.

  • Strong expertise in 2D/3D factory layouts, site master planning, building placement, warehouse design, and space optimization.

  • Hands-on experience with material flow, PFEP, inbound/outbound logistics, dock strategy, yard flow, and warehouse operations.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar layout tools; experience with FlexSim or other factory simulation tools is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of capacity and labor modeling, OEE, line balancing, takt time, and cycle time analysis, with experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
