Data Engineer

Introduction:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to support our organization's data infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is easily accessible and in the right format for analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines using ETL tools such as Airflow and Power Center
• Develop and maintain data models for efficient storage and retrieval of data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient data processing
• Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in data engineering

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and AWS services
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Airflow
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Experience with ETL processes and tools like Power Center
• Strong leadership skills to drive projects to completion
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Power BI for data visualization
