IT Support TechnicianOn-Site | Full-TimePosition OverviewAn IT Support Technician is needed to provide both remote and in-person technical support for local and remote users. This role focuses on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting business applications, maintaining workstations, and assisting with technical projects. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User Support- Provide remote and on-site technical assistance for computer operations, software issues, setup, and error resolution.
- Troubleshoot and support business applications, productivity tools, and internal processes.
- Communicate effectively with users of all technical skill levels.
- Document unique issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
Hardware & Software Support- Troubleshoot and repair new or existing hardware.
- Analyze and test new hardware and software configurations.
- Support laptop users with rebuilds, reimaging, remote access, and VPN connectivity.
- Install software, patches, and updates on desktops and laptops.
Systems & Administration Support- Update applications, websites, and content management systems accurately.
- Maintain electronic records and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist technical leads with projects from implementation through testing and production.
Operational Responsibilities- Participate in on-call rotation and provide evening or weekend support as needed.
- Perform local and occasional domestic travel for support needs.
- Work independently when assigned to client locations.
- Support multiple clients or tasks simultaneously.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications- 2-4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or computer systems support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Experience with device deployment, imaging, and workstation setup.
- Working knowledge of productivity suites and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with networks, Wi-Fi, and VPN support.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Linux or macOS environments.
- Experience supporting Office 365 users.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springboro, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
