Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to design, implement, and optimize our global financial systems landscape. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex financial requirements and cutting-edge SAP technology.

You will leverage your expertise in GTAS to ensure seamless global tax compliance and treasury integration, while utilizing SLOA methodologies to manage complex system landscape optimization, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring within SAP.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core SAP FI Implementation & Support

• Lead the architectural design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FI modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Ledger).
• Drive the migration to and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance.

2. Global Tax & Treasury (GTAS Alignment)

• Configure and maintain complex global tax structures (VAT, GST, withholding tax) to comply with international regulations.
• Integrate SAP FI with advanced Treasury and Global Tax Accounting Services (GTAS) tools to streamline financial reporting and compliance.

3. Landscape Optimization & Restructuring (SLOA Alignment)

• Lead SLOA (System Landscape Optimization / Organizational Alignment) initiatives, including company code splits, merges, chart of accounts conversions, and fiscal year variant changes.
• Provide technical and functional leadership during corporate restructuring, data migration, and system harmonization projects.

4. Stakeholder Management & Governance

• Collaborate with executive finance stakeholders to translate business strategy into scalable SAP solutions.
• Define and enforce governance standards for financial data integrity across integrated systems.

SFIA Skill:

• Analyzes business processes to identify cross-functional sap solutions. Establishes requirements for implementing modifications to SAP FI.
• Designs complex SAP financial landscapes, ensuring alignment with SLOA principles for long-term scalability and business agility.
• Manages complex financial data transformations, migrations, and structural conversions required during SAP restructuring.
• Configures SAP to meet stringent international tax requirements under the GTAS framework, ensuring auditing standards are met.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Experience: 6+ years of core experience as an SAP FI Consultant with at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.
• SLOA Expertise: Proven track record in SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) or SLOA projects (e.g., profit center re-segmentation, company code mergers, or currency conversions).
• GTAS / Tax Expertise: Deep understanding of international tax accounting, transfer pricing, and global treasury operations configured within SAP.
• Methodologies: Strong familiarity with SFIA or similar capability frameworks for role definition and career progression.

Preferred:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
• Background in Accounting or Finance (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA Finance).
• Experience with SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT) or SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
