We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Construction Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our construction projects, providing expert knowledge and skills in electrical engineering. This permanent role requires a dedicated professional who is proficient in project coordination, site administration, and office engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of business operations and quality standards and will be dedicated to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities:
The Construction Project Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of our construction projects.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
• Conducting take-offs and executing tasks rapidly and accurately.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with quality standards and operational procedures.
• Coordinating with project teams, including administrators, coordinators, and other engineers, to ensure smooth and efficient project progression.
• Using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently to manage tasks, communicate effectively with the team, and maintain project documentation.
• Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Continuously learning and expanding knowledge to improve skills and stay updated with industry trends and standards.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Engineer (Electrical) role should have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator/Administrator/Assistant, or Office Engineer at a construction contractor.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to conduct take-offs and execute tasks rapidly and accurately.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of business operations and quality standards.
• A dedication to continuous learning, expanding knowledge, and continuous improvement.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
