We are seeking an experienced Integration and Data Migration Engineer with strong expertise in ITONICS, enterprise SaaS integrations, identity management, and data migration. The role will focus on connecting ITONICS with enterprise applications and securely migrating information from a legacy Java-based application. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with APIs, SQL, ETL, SSO, user provisioning, and data reconciliation. Hands-on experience with ITONICS integrations, bulk data movement, and legacy application migrations is highly preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze legacy application architecture, databases, interfaces, scheduled processes, user information, attachments, and historical data to determine migration requirements.
  • Design and develop secure integrations between ITONICS and enterprise applications, identity platforms, and supporting services.
  • Work with ITONICS technical teams to understand available APIs, import/export capabilities, authentication methods, data limitations, and integration requirements.
  • Implement SSO and identity integrations using standards such as SAML and OIDC, along with user and group provisioning.
  • Develop REST API, file-based, and scheduled integrations using appropriate enterprise integration patterns.
  • Create source-to-target mappings and migration strategies for business records, users, evaluations, comments, status history, relationships, reference data, and attachments.
  • Develop ETL and migration utilities using Java, Python, SQL, cloud services, or enterprise data-integration tools.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading while addressing duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent source data.
  • Build reconciliation and validation processes covering record counts, key attributes, relationships, attachments, rejected records, and migration exceptions.
  • Implement secure integration practices including authentication, authorization, certificates, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Execute mock migrations and production migration cycles with appropriate restart, rollback, and exception-handling procedures.
  • Support data archiving, retention, backup, retrieval, and legacy application retirement activities.
  • Conduct integration, migration, security, and performance testing and resolve technical defects identified during testing.
  • Prepare interface specifications, data mapping documents, technical runbooks, deployment procedures, migration plans, and operational documentation.
  • Support production cutover, post-migration validation, hypercare, and ongoing integration support.
