Job Title: Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead

 

Candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following locations:
  • Hartford, CT
  • Hunt Valley, MD
  • St. Paul, MN
  • Atlanta, GA
 
Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills:

  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration
  • Guidewire Integration, Integration Gateway (IG), and App Events
  • Hands-on development experience with Guidewire Gosu and Advanced Product Designer (APD)

Experience Requirements:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience (preferred)
  • 6+ years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience
  • 2–3 years of Technical Lead experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience preferred for this Technical Lead role

 

Required Certifications:

  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration (Cloud Version)

 

Preferred Certifications:

  • PolicyCenter ACE
  • Integration ACE

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Java (Apache Camel Framework)
  • Design Innovation
  • CI/CD Automation
  • Event-Driven Architecture/Patterns
  • Technical Architecture

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for PolicyCenter, Integration Gateway (IG), and App Events.
  • Configure and customize APD, product model, rating, underwriting rules, data model, PCF, forms, and code generation.
  • Design and implement integrations using IG, REST services, messaging frameworks, and plugins.
  • Implement event-driven integrations, including schema design and error handling.
  • Support Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, DevOps teams, and vendors.
  • Mentor development teams and drive innovation, performance optimization, and reusable integration components.

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

 

Industry Experience

  • Guidewire platform-specific experience is mandatory

Travel

  • Travel expenses will be covered by the project
