Summary

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Reporting Manager for a hybrid position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH; Detroit, MI; Birmingham, AL; Minneapolis, MN; Dallas, TX; or Atlanta, GA. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Compensation: $65.00 - $74.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications


Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Reporting Manager to join the Business Management Office (BMO) within the Office of the CIO. This role will support technology verticals by providing a full landscape of business operations, improving upon and automating existing processes and reporting to scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with analysis in both Finance and Operations, preferably within a financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage business operations data, reporting, and analysis efforts for Technology
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, CIO level reporting needs, and the ability to create from new
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Technology to review and create new report requests and enhancements
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Directly lead, coach, and mentor BMO analysts and reporting resources
  • Perform data validation and troubleshoot reporting anomalies
  • Act as a point of contact for the BMO, ensuring excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations
  • Continuously improve existing processes, reports, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality
  • Own and support budget reporting, staffing reporting, workforce reporting, operational reporting, and spend reporting
  • Drive reporting automation initiatives to eliminate manual, spreadsheet-based processes
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of the reporting architecture across tools including AWS Athena, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Excel

Primary Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong data analysis and report creation; able to synthesize data into key messages
  • Ability to develop and enforce reporting standards, governance policies, and data quality practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive and C-suite audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop analysts; experience as a working manager
  • Critical thinker with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently
  • Tableau and Power BI experience required; hands-on practitioner who can personally build reports and dashboards
  • Experience with AWS Athena and SQL
  • Experience with Python for reporting automation and data processing
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • This role requires 4 days in-office weekly
