Job Description:

We are seeking a RHEL Linux Administrator with strong experience in Juniper Layer 3 switches, firewalls, and the Juniper MIST management platform.
 
This is an onsite role supporting a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling helpdesk-related escalations, monitoring network and system health, troubleshooting end-to-end issues, and owning problems through resolution or proper escalation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments
• Manage and configure Juniper Layer 3 switches and firewalls
• Monitor and analyze network performance using the Juniper MIST GUI
• Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets, provide Tier I /Tier support escalate to level III or vendors when required
• Maintain system security, patches, updates, and documentation
• Support network and systems operations in an onsite environment
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability and performance
 

Required Qualifications:
• ship (required)
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL Linux system administration
• Proficiency with Juniper switching and firewall platforms
• Experience using Juniper MIST for monitoring and troubleshooting
• Ability to support helpdesk calls and manage escalations
• Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts
• Experience with security best practices and system hardening
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
 

Nice to Have:
• Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, etc.)
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE)
• Experience in hybrid Linux/Network engineering roles
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, scripting)
