Location: San Jose, CA / Dallas, TX

Job description

  • ATE test development and execution on Advantest V93000 platform using Smartest 8 and Smartest 7.
  • Has good domain expertise and able to define Test strategy and Technical feasibility as applicable .
  • Ability to anticipate the risk and benefits involved in multiple approaches and define the best approach
  • Deep Insight on how the developed or provided solution will be used by end user(customer)
  • Interface with design teams to define test strategies and coverage.
  • Review test hardware (load boards, probe cards) and coordinate with hardware design engineers.
  • Plan and manage test readiness, resource allocation, and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with design, product engineering, and quality teams to optimize test strategies and reduce test time.
  • Drive yield improvement and failure analysis through systematic debug and root cause identification.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in test methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of semiconductor ATE experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 ATE platform.
  • Proficiency in Smartest 8 and Smartest 7 environments.
  • Expertise in load board and probe card design for high-volume production.
  • Solid understanding of PMIC, Digital SoC architectures, and DFT concepts (scan, MBIST).
  • Experience in developing and validating Digital Patterns and protocol-based tests (I2C, SPI, JTAG).
  • Hands on experience in HSIO interface & Mixed signal IP will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor test flows: wafer sort, final test, and characterization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex test issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
