Senior CAE Engineer – Durability

Role Summary

Lead durability CAE analysis and validation for vehicle subsystems including chassis, body, powertrain, battery pack, and closures. Work closely with design and testing teams to meet durability and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle durability CAE and testing

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Strength, stiffness, and fatigue analysis

  • Linear & non-linear FEA and dynamic analysis

  • Test–CAE correlation and validation

• Proficiency in CAE tools:

  • ANSA or HyperMesh (meshing)

  • OptiStruct or equivalent solver

  • nCode DesignLife (fatigue)

  • HyperView / MetaPost (post-processing)

• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and materials

• Ability to derive load cases from vehicle requirements

• Experience supporting design optimization and durability sign-off

• Exposure to vehicle, subsystem, and component-level testing
