Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading a modern DevOps and Quality Engineering ecosystem that improves software delivery speed, quality, reliability, and scalability. You will establish CI/CD capabilities from the ground up while introducing automated testing, deployment automation, release governance, and AI-enabled quality engineering practices. You will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for creating a sustainable foundation for software delivery and continuous improvement.
This job is on-site in Fort Mill, SC.
Essential Functions:- Design and implement enterprise CI/CD pipelines
- Establish Git workflows, branching standards, code review practices, and release management processes
- Design automated build, deployment, rollback, and validation processes
- Create and maintain automated smoke, regression, API, and integration testing capabilities
- Implement post-deployment validation and quality gates
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted testing technologies
- Partner with development, QA, infrastructure, and architecture teams
- Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting for delivery performance and quality
Minimum Requirements:- Regular attendance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Quality Engineering
- Experience building CI/CD solutions in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
- Programming experience in Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript
- Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and modern deployment practices
Other Skills:- Experience establishing CI/CD capabilities from creation
- Experience implementing AI-assisted testing solutions
- Azure cloud certifications
