Job Title:              Unix System Admin

Location:             Alpharetta, GA 30005 Local Only Hybrid Role

Duration:             12 months Potential to convert

Interview:            Video + Face 2 Face Interview

Description:

• Hours may vary based on project: Shift timings would be from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM by 2 members on weekly rotation
• i.e. morning shift would start at 7:00 AM and afternoon shift starts at 12:00 Noon
• Potential to Convert

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of Unix/Linux Administration Enterprise Level Experience in large, distributed environment.
• Experience of Project Management, Incident & Change Management and Reporting
• In depth knowledge Linux (Red-hat) with good knowledge in Solaris.
• Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and associated technologies (NFS, NIS, DNS, DHCP)
• Detailed knowledge of Unix system monitoring and reporting
• Detailed knowledge of Server Firmware upgrade
• Detailed knowledge of NTP/Time Keeper, Time synchronization technologies
• In depth knowledge in vulnerability assessment and server patching.
• Programming level knowledge of Shell, Perl/Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve complex problems, with a fix it once for everywhere and automation mentality.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well in a global-team environment.
• The individual should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high-pressure situations for outage handling, management, or resolution
