IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technology initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and communication skills with a solid understanding of technology systems and project delivery. This individual will manage priorities, track progress, and proactively address risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through completion
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate resources and manage dependencies across teams
- Monitor progress and ensure projects stay on track
Stakeholder Communication
- Partner with IT leadership, business teams, and external vendors
- Provide regular status updates, including risks and mitigation plans
- Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Systems and Process Coordination
- Support initiatives involving enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and delivered
- Help drive process improvements and standardization across projects
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Escalate issues as needed and support resolution efforts
- Ensure accountability and follow-through across project teams
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in IT project management or related roles
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software development or systems implementation projects
Preferred
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise system implementations
- Background working in fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
