Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Architect with deep expertise in Windchill PLM environments to support a large-scale enterprise data migration initiative. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of data migration methodologies, hands-on experience with PLM systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end data migration activities within Windchill PLM environments
• Analyze legacy systems and plan migration strategies from non-PLM to Windchill platforms
• Perform data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure data integrity
• Work with Windchill data models, workflows, and system configurations
• Utilize Windchill migration tools, including Site Consolidation tools and related utilities
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes
• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline migration processes
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and governance for data migration
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, risks, and migration challenges proactively

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably within Windchill environments
• Strong understanding of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) domain
• Expertise in Windchill data models, workflows, and system configurations
• Proven experience in migrating data from non-PLM systems to Windchill
• In-depth knowledge of data migration concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Familiarity with CAD data and engineering document management systems
• Experience working with WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator) tool
• Proficiency in Windchill migration tools and utilities, including Site Consolidation processes
• Strong experience in data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Shell, or similar)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in PLM, data management, or related domains
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise migration projects
