Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Conferencing and Collaboration Engineer to support, evolve, and optimize a global enterprise communication and collaboration environment. This role is critical to enabling seamless, secure, and reliable collaboration across a distributed organization.
The ideal candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert for modern collaboration technologies, take ownership of core platforms, and proactively drive innovation and continuous improvement. This role requires close partnership with IT teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to enhance user experience, adoption, and productivity.
Key Accountabilities
Collaboration Platform Management (25%)
Manage, support, and optimize enterprise collaboration platforms, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams / Office 365
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of collaboration infrastructure and applications
Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain optimal conferencing performance
Conferencing & AV Solutions (30%)
Design, implement, and maintain video conferencing and Audio/Visual (AV) integration solutions
Oversee hardware vendors and installation partners for new conference room builds and upgrades
Collaborate with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to integrate new solutions and resolve technical challenges
Innovation, Documentation & Adoption (30%)
Research, evaluate, and recommend new software, hardware, and processes to keep the collaboration ecosystem aligned with industry best practices
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications and user guides
Partner with communications and change management teams to promote adoption of new features and capabilities, including the use of AI within collaboration tools
Executive & Advanced Support (5%)
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for conferencing and collaboration technologies
Deliver executive-level meeting support, ensuring flawless technical execution for high-profile meetings and events
Digital Signage Support (10%)
Qualifications
Required
Proven experience designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting video conferencing and AV integration solutions
Hands-on experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams / Office 365
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and collaboration software
Experience or familiarity with integrating AI-driven features within communication and collaboration platforms
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic enterprise environment
Preferred
Relevant certifications in collaboration, conferencing, or AV technologies
Experience supporting executive-level users and enterprise-scale environments
