Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Project Description:

This candidate will join the Discover Experience Team, contributing to our customer app (built with React Native) and web navigation components on the web (built with React). The team is dedicated to crafting exceptional product discovery experiences and optimizing customer shopping journeys through innovative navigation features that meet the demands of a top 5 e-commerce.

Position Summary/Job Description: -

• Work as a part of a world-class mobile & web engineering team that delivers amazing results through rapid iterations.
• Build meaningful experiences for customers in React and React Native that are proven, well-thought and validated
• Directly contribute to feature design, architecture, implementation and team culture that fosters innovative problem solving
• Interact directly with peer developers, Product Management, Design, QA

Skills Overview:

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

• 6+ years of experience with web development (JavaScript, React, NodeJS)
• 2+ years of experience working on a global team
• 3+ years of experience with mobile app development
• Minimum of 8 years related software development experience with Bachelor s degree; additional 2 years of experience without BS/BA
• Proficiency with server side rendering design patterns for web development

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

• Experience with Typescript, NodeJS, NextJS , GraphQL, Zustand, Charles proxy tool, etc. would be a bonus.
• You feel at home in a test-driven, agile team
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/macOS command line
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you must be comfortable in small and large groups and interacting with senior executives
• Flexible problem-solving ability
