Summary

Technical Program Manager (TPM) - CMDB & Enterprise Infrastructure

Location: Dallas, Texas (100% Onsite, 5 Days per Week)

Work Authorization: Any visa (H1, Citizen)

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) initiatives, infrastructure programs, and large-scale technology integration projects. The TPM will serve as the bridge between infrastructure, application, operations, and business teams, ensuring successful delivery of strategic technology programs while maintaining CMDB integrity, governance, and operational excellence.

This role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Platforms, ITIL Processes, and Enterprise Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • CMDB & Configuration Management
  • Own and manage the enterprise CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and governance compliance.
  • Drive Configuration Management processes, policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain configuration item (CI) lifecycle management and service mapping across enterprise systems.
  • Conduct CMDB health checks, audits, reconciliation activities, and data quality reviews.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams to maintain CI relationships and dependencies.
  • Integrate discovery, monitoring, and asset management platforms with the CMDB.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive reporting related to CMDB and asset management.

Technical Program Management

  • Lead complex infrastructure, cloud, application, and enterprise integration programs from initiation through completion.
  • Create and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination among engineering, infrastructure, operations, security, and business teams.
  • Track program status, financials, risks, issues, and executive-level communications.
  • Ensure successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Enterprise Integration & Transformation

  • Manage enterprise integration initiatives across business and technology platforms.
  • Coordinate projects involving:

o Microsoft Dynamics 365

o SAP Finance

o Ariba

o Vertex

o Procurement Systems

o Manufacturing Systems

o Invoicing and Logistics Platforms

  • Support infrastructure modernization, automation, cloud migration, and digital transformation efforts.

Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Prepare and present status updates, risk assessments, project dashboards, and roadmap reviews.
  • Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and governance reviews.

Governance, Risk & Vendor Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and audit requirements.
  • Manage vendors, consultants, system integrators, and third-party partners.
  • Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Technical Program Management or IT Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in CMDB Administration, Configuration Management, or IT Infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB or equivalent CMDB platforms.
  • Strong understanding of:

o Windows & Linux Infrastructure

o Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform

o Enterprise Networking

o Storage Technologies

o Virtualization Platforms

  • Experience with CI lifecycle management, discovery tools, and service mapping.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL processes including Change, Incident, Problem, Asset, and Configuration Management.
  • Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cloud, integration, or transformation projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • ServiceNow CSA, CIS-CMDB, or related certifications.
  • Experience supporting Semiconductor Manufacturing, Engineering, or High-Tech environments.
  • Experience with enterprise governance frameworks, PMO practices, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Background in infrastructure automation, cloud transformation, or digital modernization programs.
