Senior Reconciliation Analyst

What does a successful Senior Reconciliation Analyst do at Fiserv?

As a Senior Reconciliation Analyst for Settlement Controls & Solutions (SCS), you will lead complex reconciliation activities that ensure accurate settlement and cash positioning for Fiserv and our clients. You will work closely with Treasury, operations, and technology partners to resolve discrepancies, enhance reconciliation processes, and support initiatives that improve financial accuracy, control, and client outcomes.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform daily reconciliation and analysis of bank data, transaction activity, and settlement positions across multiple institutions.
  • Resolve transaction discrepancies between institutions by researching variances, identifying root causes, and executing corrections.
  • Monitor and analyze reconciliation output and outgoing settlement files, escalating issues and risks with clear, data-driven insights.
  • Prepare and accurately update daily cash projections, communicating intraday changes in funding positions to Treasury.
  • Process correcting entries for clients using automated tools and manual adjustments while adhering to internal control requirements.
  • Support projects and initiatives that improve reconciliation, settlement controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Document reconciliation procedures, control evidence, and exception handling to support audit and compliance requirements.

What will you need to have:
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, banking, finance, or a related discipline supporting daily financial processes.
  • Experience supporting project implementation, process improvements, or operational change initiatives within a financial, banking, payments and/or similar environment.
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • 4+ years of an equivalent combination of education, work and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field
  • Knowledge of different card brands - VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, etc
  • Experience working with Data Analytics/Metrics
  • Experience in interpreting financial anomalies, reconciling financial records, identifying discrepancies, ensuring accurate treasury functions, and/or similar discipline
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, SQL, or Power Automate
  • Specialized certifications such as CTP

How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range:
$62,000.00-$85,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
