Lead QA Automation Engineer F2F Interview 

Introduction:

This position is for a Lead QA Automation Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong programming background and hands-on experience with various automation tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and other tools.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews, identify bugs, and provide solutions to improve overall test coverage.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong programming background with experience in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, Maven, Postman, and Swagger.
• Experience with iOS and Android mobile automation.
• Knowledge of web and API automation testing.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Angular web applications and Allure/Test Framework Development.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with CarMax or Southwest Airlines (SWA) is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools like Appium, Espresso, Playwright, Maestro, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift and other object-oriented languages.
