IT Project Manager (Contract 9 Months)

Summary

The IT Project Manager will lead critical and strategic initiatives within the IT PMO, driving projects that directly impact organizational performance. This role partners closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver highvisibility results. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment, excels at crossfunctional collaboration, and brings a strong track record of managing complex IT initiatives particularly within IT Infrastructure and IT Security. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote PMO standards and methodologies
• Manage both largescale and smallscale IT projects with measurable business impact
• Drive project execution based on defined priorities, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans from feasibility through implementation
• Maintain accurate and uptodate project documentation
• Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical project leadership
• Build strong relationships across functional teams to ensure delivery of commitments
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve business processes
• Apply strong organizational and problemsolving skills to bring structure and clarity to complex initiatives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to influence outcomes and manage expectations
• Demonstrate adaptability and agility in response to changing priorities
• Collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment
• Facilitate alignment across diverse viewpoints and negotiate solutions
• Prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities to achieve project goals
• Apply analytical, forwardlooking approaches to manage project uncertainty, risks, and opportunities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience managing technical projects
• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scaled/SAFe, Kanban, Scrum)
• PMP certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
• Background in IT Infrastructure, IT Networks, and IT Security standards and policies
• Experience with SharePoint
• Familiarity with ITIL practices
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Agile certification
