Role Overview:
Join us as a Dealership Software Implementation Specialist, where you will spearhead the implementation process of advanced dealership management systems. You will be pivotal in managing and streamlining the transition from existing to new software capabilities for automotive dealerships. Working closely with stakeholders and coordinating between technical and non-technical teams, you will aim to achieve successful software deployment with minimal impact on day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Implementation Management
- Guide the dealership through every stage of the software implementation process, from the preparatory work to the support after going live.
- Own the project timeline, ensuring deliverables are presented with excellence, and be proactive in addressing potential project challenges and their solutions.
Relationship Building & Effective Communication
- Build a trusted channel of communication with dealer representatives, third-party software suppliers, and internal delivery teams.
- Ensure project goals, timelines, and roles are effectively communicated, gaining commitment from all parties involved.
Technical Execution & Problem Resolution
- Supervise the precise execution of software integration, focused on systems such as financial operations, inventory control, customer relationship management, and more.
- Swiftly recognize and address any technical and workflow issues, facilitating resolutions by collaborating with pertinent experts.
Education & Post-Implementation Support
- Develop and present educational programs to aid dealership personnel in adapting to new software features and functions.
- Offer comprehensive support throughout the transition period, assisting all levels of users to fully engage with the new systems.
Process Documentation & Refinement
- Keep detailed records of the implementation steps, custom configurations, and feedback to enhance future installations.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in software deployment, digital transformation, dealership operations, or technical client support.
- Solid grasp of Dealership Management Systems (DMS), the automotive industry’s operations, and fundamental IT frameworks.
- Outstanding skills in communication, organization, and analytical problem-solving.
- Preparedness for significant travel requirements (up to 90%) to ensure in-person guidance at dealerships throughout the country.
