Print Production Operator

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a dependable Print Production Operator to join a growing operations team in the Columbia, SC area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production, manufacturing, warehouse, mailroom, copier, or print experience who are looking to learn specialized equipment and build a long-term career in a fast-paced environment.

The Print Production Operator will be responsible for operating high-speed print equipment, processing production jobs, performing quality checks, and ensuring critical customer communications are produced accurately and on schedule.

Duties:

• Operate and monitor high-speed production printing equipment.
• Process, sort, trim, and prepare printed materials for distribution.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of production output.
• Operate finishing and insertion equipment in support of daily production activities.
• Monitor systems and equipment performance and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
• Complete routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Prioritize workloads to meet production deadlines and service level requirements.
• Accurately process production documents while maintaining attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively within a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, print operations, mail operations, or high-volume copier environments preferred.
• Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes.

Schedule:

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• Day and night shift opportunities available
• Includes weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Multiple days off each week based on rotation schedule

• High-volume print production
• Commercial printing equipment
• Production or manufacturing environments
• Mail insertion or finishing equipment
• High-speed copier operation
