Are you a strategic negotiator who thrives at the intersection of IT operations, finance, and legal compliance? We are seeking a high-caliber IT Contracts and Assets Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of technology procurement and vendor management for a global enterprise.
In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between IT leadership and corporate stakeholders, ensuring that every agreement-from high-value MSAs to technical SOWs-is optimized for value, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. responsibilities:
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of vendor contracts, including MSAs and SOWs. Ensure absolute clarity in deliverables, payment milestones, and staffing requirements.
- Strategic Procurement: Align IT purchasing with corporate DOA guidelines, acting as the primary liaison between IT, Finance, and Procurement to streamline workflows.
- Vendor Negotiation: Support IT leaders in high-stakes negotiations to secure favorable terms and proactively identify opportunities for contract consolidation and cost savings.
- Asset & Repository Oversight: Maintain a centralized, audit-ready repository for all IT contracts, change orders, and Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs).
- Financial Tracking: Monitor IT capital and operational expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX) related to vendor management and asset utilization.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and resolve ambiguous terms or weak deliverables within contracts to protect the organization from operational and financial risk.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular performance updates to the Global IT Operations Leader regarding compliance, renewal timelines, and vendor effectiveness.
qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT Procurement, Contract Management, or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
- Proven ability to review and interpret technical Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Experience with budgeting including forecasting, allocation, and monthly variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of DOA (Delegation of Authority) protocols and corporate procurement compliance.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating high-value vendor contracts and managing renewals.
- Ability to operate independently and lead complex projects with minimal supervision.
