QlikView Developer

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Qlik development, SQL, data modeling, ETL, dashboard development, performance optimization, and business-facing analytics. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance and mentorship while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and develop scalable QlikView/Qlik Sense dashboards, scorecards, and reporting applications.
• Develop and maintain data models supporting enterprise BI and operational reporting.
• Build and optimize ETL processes, data loads, and data integrations across multiple enterprise data sources.
• Develop complex SQL queries and optimize database and reporting performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support for Qlik applications and reporting environments.
• Improve application performance, data accuracy, scalability, and overall user experience.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend BI development best practices.
• Support security, user access, and governance requirements for reporting applications.
• Conduct peer reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level BI developers and provide technical guidance.
• Work within Agile teams to deliver enhancements and new functionality aligned with business priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working across relational databases and enterprise data environments.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and BI architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development, data transformation, and data integration.
• Experience optimizing BI applications and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Experience supporting business-critical reporting applications in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting automation and distribution tools.
• Experience working with ERP, Finance, Sales, or Operations data.
• Previous experience leading BI development initiatives or mentoring developers.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools.
• Experience with Qlik scripting, application optimization, and performance tuning.
