Senior Software Engineer

What you will be doing:

• Building and evolving core platform services in Python on Azure alongside the Lead Architect in a structured shadowing and learning approach

• Partnering with distributed engineering pods in Argentina reviewing code, guiding work, surfacing risks, and growing into managing those pods over time

• Shipping production-grade cloud-native services that are reliable, secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable for regulated enterprise customers

• Providing bench coverage during the Lead Architect's planned absences maintaining continuity on critical-path items and unblocking vendor pods

• Collaborating daily across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams including direct interaction with customers on features and feedback

Role responsibilities:

• Build and maintain core platform services alongside the Lead Architect.

• Use AI tools across the SDLC and learn emerging agentic patterns.

• Work as a peer reviewer and contributor with distributed contractor pods.

• Shadow the Lead Architect and provide coverage during planned short absences.

• Build and evolve core Iridius platform services using Python, Kubernetes, and event-driven cloud-native architectures on Azure.

• Implement production-grade backend services.

• Contribute to features supporting traceability, validation, auditability, and evidence generation.

• Work within an AI-augmented engineering workflow.

• Collaborate with distributed contractor pods on shared deliverables.

• Provide code review and quality feedback.

• Shadow the Lead Architect across services and vendor interactions.
