About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives for Retail & E-Commerce operations. In this role, you will analyze sales, customer, and transactional data, develop interactive dashboards, generate KPI reports, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy, identify trends, and optimize business performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze retail, e-commerce, sales, and customer datasets to identify business trends.
• Write SQL queries to extract, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Develop KPI reports and business performance dashboards.
• Perform data validation, data quality checks, and data reconciliation.
• Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for business stakeholders.
• Analyze sales performance, revenue, customer behavior, and conversion metrics.
• Assist with data cleaning, transformation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Present analytical findings using clear visualizations and reports.
• Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-3 Years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and formulas.
• Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of data validation, data quality, and reporting concepts.
• Basic understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working with retail or e-commerce data is preferred.
