The role involves hydraulic modeling, detailed data and system analysis, optimization, engineering design, and collaboration with multiple disciplines to design, construct, and maintain safe, reliable, and commercially successful operations across the asset footprint.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain pipeline simulation models to assess capacity availability and support Commercial proposals and Operational needs across systems.

Perform transient and steady-state pipeline simulation analysis to determine capacity and scope requirements for new projects and compliance with existing contracts, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Perform steady-state and dynamic multi-phase process simulation using BR&E ProMax and Aspen HYSYS software.

Develop front-end engineering design and scope documentation and support production of cost and schedule estimates for growth and operational projects.

Layout natural gas, liquid hydrocarbon, and/or alternative fuels gathering and transmission systems. Designs will incorporate sizing of pipes, regulation, pumps, compression, tanks, measurement, surge relief, drag reducing agents, and liquid handling facilities.

Analyze system-wide operations for optimization opportunities.

Execute system reliability, peak day analysis, forecasting, quality tracking, blending analysis, and fuel optimization studies and recommendations.

Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Measurement, Project Management, Legal, Commercial Supply, Marketing, Transportation and Storage personnel during proposal development, estimation, and execution.

Monitor proposed Commercial Supply, Transport, and Marketing contracts / facility agreements to ensure compliance with existing contract obligations relative to quality, pressures, and volumes.

Assist Control Centers and Operations with outage coordination related to Outages, Emergencies, Integrity Assessment, Encroachments, and Construction activities.
