Senior Cyber Security Architect with
a financial services client.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:- 10+ years designing/building/managing security solutions; proven security architecture review experience across multiple domains.
- Strong in secure design principles, documentation of risks/remediation, and executive-level communication.
- Hands-on understanding of customer authentication (web/voice), cloud and on-prem controls, and reference architecture delivery.
- Framework fluency: NIST 800-53, CIS, ISO 27000, COBIT; certifications like CISSP/CSSLP preferred.
- Nice to have: AI security experience.
What you will be doing:
Enterprise security architecture & design authority: Define solution intent, security requirements, and secure deployment patterns; lead design reviews and sign-offs for risk and policy compliance.
Cross-domain security leadership: Cover IAM, Data Protection, Application Security, Network Security, and Security Analytics; ensure designs meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability needs.
Governance & best practices: Contribute to reference architectures, templates, and roadmaps; align designs to frameworks (e.g.,
NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000, COBIT).
Stakeholder enablement: Work with engineering teams, product owners, and vendors to clarify architectures, remove impediments, and deploy secure solutions globally.
1st Line of Defense COE role: Provide security decisions and implementation guidance while balancing business priorities and threat/risk drivers.
