SCOPE OF WORK
* Lead installation, configuration, and environment setup of the InRule platform.
* Establish and manage role-based access controls, security configurations, and onboarding processes.
* Define, document, and enforce rule development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
* Architect, design, and develop complex rulesets and decision logic as required.
* Provide oversight and quality assurance for rule development activities.
* Monitor platform utilization and adoption; recommend improvements to optimize performance and maintainability.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and enterprise architects to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
* Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to State staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum seven (7) years of IT experience in application architecture, system design, or related roles.
* Demonstrated experience in at least three (3) enterprise-level InRule implementation projects.
* Strong understanding of Business Rules Engine (BRE) architecture and governance.
* Experience integrating InRule with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
* Experience working within structured SDLC environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience supporting New York State or other government agencies.
* Experience in hybrid and/or cloud-based deployments.
* Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance standards in the public sector.
