Job Description

We are seeking entry-level Data Center Cable Technicians to support large-scale fiber cabling projects within data center environments. This work supports a major fiber upgrade initiative focused on replacing existing coax cabling with fiber. Technicians will be responsible for pulling high volumes of fiber and performing basic terminations in active data centers.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route high volumes of fiber optic cabling
• Assist with removal of existing coax and replacement with fiber
• Perform basic fiber termination work
• Support structured cabling installations in data center environments
• Follow strict safety, quality, and site compliance standards
• Work collaboratively with project leads and team members
• Travel between multiple data center sites as project needs require

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday

Required Skills

• Cable pulling and installation
• Structured cabling experience
• Fiber optic cabling
• Low-voltage cabling
• Familiarity with Cat5 / Cat6 and coax
• Experience working in data center environments

This is a Contract position based out of Reno, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
