About the Opportunity:The Client Specific Team has an immediate opening for a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support a specific application and organization. This application is a unique cross partnership between multiple locations that focuses on developing and delivering business value for the application services.

In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment where you will contribute to the development, modification, testing, implementation, and evaluation of solutions in AWS Cloud. You will also analyze existing solutions, formulate requirements, perform coding, and test and debug; and use your communication and customer service skills to provide support and troubleshooting for production solutions, and recommend changes in development, maintenance, and standards. We employ an Agile development process.
- Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related disciplines and/or equivalent work experience.
- The Sr. Cloud Engineer typically requires five or more years of technical experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus on Enterprise file platforms.
- Experience in AWS technologies including serverless, Lambda, RDS, storage, IAM, and migration services.
- Experience in the design and implementation of AWS Cloud environments.
- Fluency with one or more scripting/coding languages such as Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, Python, Node.js
- Experience with REST APIs, Mini Services, Cloud, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience working on Agile projects and participate in daily scrums and updates.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
- Ability to clearly communicate and present to various levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Independent and self-motivated worker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
- Ability to interact with customers, understand business requirements and collaborate with team members to explore existing system, determine areas of complexity, identify potential risk to successful implementations.
- Nice to have: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Responsibilities: Contribute in an agile and collaborative environment to the development, testing, implementation, and review and evaluation of complex solutions.
- Provide programming support for complex solutions, develop software from established requirements, appropriately deploy code, and offer insight on the feasibility of system designs.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for production solutions using your communication and customer service skills, and recommend changes in development, maintenance, and standards.
- Contribute to the design of technology infrastructure and configurations, recommend process improvements.
- Review complex patches and new versions of applications. Implement complex software packages and deploy code.
- Compile and maintain technical documentation, including use cases and scripts; conduct technical research and maintain viable knowledge of technology trends.
