Description

We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to support and enhance enterprise collaboration technology across healthcare environments in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This position focuses on maintaining reliable meeting room and conferencing solutions, improving user experience for staff and leadership, and helping deliver consistent AV standards across multiple spaces. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in audiovisual systems, unified communications platforms, and Microsoft 365-integrated collaboration tools.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of conference room technology, including integrated audio, video, and room control solutions.
Coordinate and lead deployment activities for collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and other enterprise conferencing environments.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues affecting meeting spaces, presentation systems, and collaboration services.
Develop and maintain technical standards, support documentation, and operating procedures to improve consistency across collaboration environments.
Evaluate new AV and unified communications technologies through testing and pilot initiatives to support future planning and standardization.
Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to guide equipment selection, service quality, and long-term collaboration technology roadmaps.
Support executive meetings, presentations, and high-visibility events by ensuring room readiness and rapid issue resolution.
Monitor the health and availability of room systems and take proactive steps to reduce downtime and service disruption.
Contribute to network-connected AV infrastructure planning, including device connectivity, performance optimization, and secure endpoint management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
At least five years of hands-on experience with audiovisual, unified communications, or workplace collaboration technologies.
Demonstrated background supporting enterprise conference rooms, executive boardrooms, and event or presentation spaces.
Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, and standards-based video conferencing systems.
Experience with AV hardware and control ecosystems, including DSPs, audio conferencing systems, cameras, digital signage, scheduling panels, and related room technologies.
Familiarity with networking concepts relevant to AV environments, including IP-based systems, VLANs, QoS, PoE, wireless presentation tools, and device security.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 collaboration components such as Teams, Exchange Online resource mailboxes, Intune, Entra ID, and PowerShell.
Proven ability to manage technical projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and troubleshoot issues with a strong customer service mindset.
