Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions. The candidate should possess strong domain expertise in banking products, payment systems, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business objectives, processes, and functional requirements.

  • Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and gap analysis.

  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, use cases, and process flows.

  • Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, development teams, QA teams, and external vendors.

  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story refinement.

  • Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Assist in production deployments, issue analysis, and post-implementation support.

  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and organizational policies.

  • Support digital transformation and payment modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

Banking Domain

  • Strong understanding of Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Commercial Banking.

  • Knowledge of Account Management, Loans, Deposits, Cards, Customer Onboarding, and Treasury concepts.

  • Familiarity with core banking systems and banking operations.

Payments Domain

  • Hands-on experience with domestic and international payment systems.

  • Knowledge of:

    • SWIFT

    • SEPA

    • ACH

    • Wire Transfers

    • Real-Time Payments (RTP)

    • ISO 20022

    • Card Payments

    • Payment Gateway integrations

    • Cross-border payments

    • Merchant acquiring and issuing concepts

Business Analysis

  • Requirement gathering and analysis

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with global banking or financial services organizations.

  • Experience in payment modernization or digital banking transformation projects.

  • Exposure to cloud-based banking platforms and API-driven ecosystems.

  • Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
