Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid: 8 hrs/day, Tues–Thurs in-office)

Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between Auto Sales IT, business units, and technology teams, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of business process improvements and technology solutions. This role drives the successful delivery of complex initiatives by defining business requirements, optimizing operational processes, supporting digital transformation, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Lead discovery sessions and workshops; define, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements; create process models, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
- Business Process Optimization: Analyze current-state processes to identify efficiencies; design future-state workflows supporting operational excellence and digital transformation; mitigate risks and reduce costs.
- Project Delivery Leadership: Act as lead BA on cross-functional projects; collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
- Testing & Change Management: Coordinate UAT strategies and execution; validate delivered solutions against requirements; support training, change impact assessments, and adoption planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Core Competencies: Advanced requirements elicitation, business process modeling, workflow analysis, and SDLC understanding.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft 365.
- Soft Skills: Excellent facilitation, presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data analysis, reporting, APIs, cloud solutions, and systems integration.
- Understanding of compliance and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting automotive services or enterprise digital transformation programs.
