AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design & Deployment
• Architect and implement AWS-based solutions for networking, compute, and storage.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Networking
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, and VPN connections.
• Implement load balancing, firewalls, and security groups to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow.
• Database Management
• Administer and optimize AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and other database services.
• Perform backup, recovery, and performance tuning for relational and non-relational databases.
• Server Management
• Manage EC2 instances, AMIs, and auto-scaling groups.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement IAM roles, policies, and multi-factor authentication.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud security.
• Monitoring & Optimization
• Use CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools for proactive monitoring.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing).
• Expertise in database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Windows server management.
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
