Title: Developer with Encryption Experience

Design and develop Java-based applications using MVC architecture and modern software engineering practices. Build, enhance, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices for enterprise application platforms. Implement secure data protection capabilities using approved encryption methodologies, including FIPS-compliant cryptography and AES-GCM encryption patterns. Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to build, test, package, scan, and deploy Java microservices. Use pipeline-as-code practices, such as YAML-based pipeline definitions, to improve repeatability, version control, and collaboration. Deploy and support microservices in a Kubernetes environment, including containerized application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure services meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, and scalability. Integrate quality and security checks into the delivery lifecycle, including static code analysis, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management. Participate in code reviews and promote clean code practices, including meaningful commits, small pull requests, and traceability to work items. Troubleshoot application, deployment, and runtime issues across development, test, and production-like environments. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Java development, preferably using Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and web application architecture. Experience developing and deploying RESTful microservices. Knowledge of data encryption methodologies, including FIPS standards and AES-GCM encryption. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Java applications. Familiarity with pipeline-as-code practices using YAML or similar configuration-based automation. Experience with containerization and deployment to Kubernetes environments. Understanding of DevOps practices, automated testing, release automation, and deployment governance. Experience with source control and pull request workflows using platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub. Ability to collaborate across technical teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Docker, Kubernetes manifests, Helm, or similar deployment tooling. Experience deploying applications to AKS or other managed Kubernetes platforms. Familiarity with GitOps deployment models, such as ArgoCD. Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with code quality and security platforms such as SonarQube, JFrog/Xray, or SAST/DAST tooling. Experience with cloud-native application development and enterprise platform standards. Knowledge of secure software supply chain practices, dependency management, and vulnerability remediation.
