Description:
The quality manager will be responsible for ensuring all parties on the program adhere to the Quality management plan as outlined below. As well as maintaining a high and consistent level of quality on all documents and deliverables.
1. Utilizing the Quality Lifecycle above, the QMP will address quality in five ways:
Quality - Quality of Services will be embedded through the following practices:
- Standards & Compliance: All Services shall comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific quality benchmarks.
- Quality Reviews: Each Deliverable will undergo formal Acceptance Process review as set forth in Section
- Acceptance Testing: As part of such Acceptance Process, we will be provided with the opportunity to review and test Deliverables against predefined acceptance criteria.
- Defect Management: All identified defects or gaps shall be logged, categorized, and addressed following a corrective action plan. Critical issues must be addressed prior to formal acceptance of any deliverable, while non-critical issues will be tracked and addressed per agreed timelines. These defects will be documented in the RAID log.
2. Quality Gates (Q-Gates)
The QMP will define Q-Gate milestones for every work path, and progress is tracked by the Project Management Office. Project quality is verified near the completion of each QGate. The SAP Quality Manager will create a customized checklist and perform the Q-Gate quality check. These quality checks verify that all tasks for the Q-Gate have been completed, that all relevant documentation has been maintained, and that all predecessor tasks required to commence work towards the next Q-Gate have been completed.
3. Methodology Quality Checks (MQC)
SAP's Quality Management team, alongside the SAP RISE Enterprise Architect (EA), will perform quarterly Fit-to-Standard and RISE Conformance Checks, helping the project to maximize conformance with fit-to-standard SAP best practices and RISE methodology.
4. Clean Core Quality Gates (CCQG) The SI and client will directly follow SAP Activate Methodology for Clean Core quality gate executions for the remaining project phases (Realize - CCQG3, Deploy - CCQG4). There is no CCQG for the Run phase. The Clean Core quality gates are available in CALM for self-service by client. The RISE Enterprise Architect will guide the submission and review process.
