Transport Network Engineer- Remote Mid level (5-12 years)
Our Client, a multinational telecommunications technology company has an urgent and immediate need for a Transport & Interconnect Network Engineer.
This Person will be Responsible for engineering, provisioning, and managing telecommunications transport and interconnect services supporting large-scale Verizon network infrastructure.
Utilize CND (Granite) systems to design, validate, and maintain circuit connectivity across fiber, transport, and interconnection platforms.
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering, provisioning, and operations teams to ensure accurate circuit builds, capacity planning, and service activation.
Key Responsibilities:
•Engineer and provision transport and interconnect circuitUtilize CND Granite for circuit design, inventory management, and service activation.
•Perform circuit path analysis, grooming, and validation to ensure network integrity and efficiency.
•Coordinate with NOCs, provisioning teams, and field operations to support network builds, migrations, and troubleshooting.
•Maintain accurate network inventory, documentation, and circuit records within Granite systems.
•Assist in troubleshooting transport failures and service impairments impacting interconnect or backbone services.
•Ensure compliance with Verizon engineering standards and telecom best practices.
