Full-Stack Java Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer who combines strong software engineering expertise with exceptional client-facing communication skills. This role partners directly with clients to understand business objectives, translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, and provide ongoing implementation and production support. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing enterprise applications, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and building trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key technical point of contact for clients and build strong client relationships. Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Guide clients through technical implementations, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing application support. Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/JEE and related technologies. Build RESTful and SOAP-based web services using JSON and XML. Develop front-end applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and React. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, product, and support teams. Clearly communicate technical concepts, recommendations, project status, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Take ownership of client issues through resolution and ensure consistent communication throughout the process. Contribute hands-on to application development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical solution design. Perform unit and automated testing using applicable testing frameworks. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, usability, and overall client experience. Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure requirements and feedback are clearly understood. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of related professional experience. Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 3+ years of related professional experience may also qualify. 5+ years of related professional software development experience. Strong experience with Java/JEE and Python. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, and React. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with WebSphere Application Server or equivalent application server technologies. Experience with server-side application frameworks including JSP, Servlets, Spring, and Spring Boot. Experience with Hibernate or equivalent ORM technologies. Experience developing RESTful and/or SOAP-based web services using JSON and XML. Experience with unit and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright. Strong SQL and relational database experience with Oracle, MySQL, or equivalent technologies. Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills. Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering abilities. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong ownership and follow-through on client issues and deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working directly with enterprise clients in consulting or customer-facing environments. Experience managing competing client priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience collaborating across engineering, product, support, and client teams. Strong ability to proactively identify technical risks, solutions, and opportunities to improve client experience. Education: Bachelors Degree
