Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment ensuring performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks for manufacturing and prototyping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and refine products from concept through production
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and failure analysis to meet safety and reliability standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specs, BOMs, and assembly instructions
- Support manufacturing by optimizing designs for production efficiency, cost, and quality
Must-Have Skills:
- Mechanical and machine design experience
- SolidWorks proficiency (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings, simulations)
- Engineering calculations and technical analysis
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Technical documentation (BOMs, specifications, assembly instructions)
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and CFD
- Prototyping and rapid manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Exposure to electrical systems and controls
- Microcontrollers and basic programming (Python, C++)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in mechanical and machine design
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Proven problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
