Role:: Network Architect (Strategy, Planning, and Architecture)
Location: Onsite - San Jose (CA)
Duration: 12+ months with possible extension
Role Summary
Responsible for defining end to end network architecture across enterprise, data centre, AWS cloud, and remote sites. Covers Cisco Catalyst Center, Catalyst 93xx/8x series switches, routers, and SD Access based designs.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
Define network architecture for DC, campus, AWS cloud, and remote sites
Design L2/L3 topologies, segmentation, routing, and SD Access strategies
Build automation architecture (ZTP, GitOps, IaC)
Define security architecture (mTLS, PKI, IPsec, identity models)
Align AWS networking with on prem environments
Planning & Design Design Day 0 and Day 1 provisioning frameworks for Cisco Catalyst Center and traditional networks
Create HLD and LLD documents
Develop capacity planning and scaling strategies
Technology Leadership Evaluate network platforms: Cisco Catalyst Center, 93xx/8x series, SD Access, NX OS, Arista, Juniper
Define standards and reference architectures
Lead design governance and technical reviews
Stakeholder Collaboration Work with enterprise architects, cloud teams, and security teams
Provide architectural guidance to implementation teams
Key Skills DC networking (EVPN, VXLAN, BGP)
AWS networking (VPC, TGW, VPN, Direct Connect)
