The Opportunity

Are you excited to help shape the next generation of intelligence systems? Join CACI as a Software Engineer supporting critical national security missions in Fort Meade, MD. You'll work on a wide range of complex software solutions-spanning data-intensive analytics, advanced algorithms, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, and business information platforms.

In this role, you'll apply modern software design and development methodologies to build, enhance, and maintain systems that make a real impact. If you're looking to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to mission-driven innovation, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications, APIs, scripts, and services.
  • Implement new feature requirements, enhance existing functionality, and resolve software defects.
  • Manage and maintain code using Git-based repositories.
  • Create and update DevOps configuration files and deployment scripts.
  • Support escalated customer issues with timely investigation and resolution.
  • Route, transform, and enrich data across diverse systems.
  • Collaborate closely with data providers and data consumers to ensure smooth integration and system performance.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
  • Bachelors degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Experience developing APIs.
  • Proficiency with AWS services.
  • Experience using Terraform.
  • Scripting skills (Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git and Jira.

Desired:
  • Experience in at least four of the following:
    • JavaScript
    • Regular Expressions (RegEx)
    • REST services
    • Python frameworks
    • Elasticsearch or Splunk
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Elastic Beats)
    • Apache NiFi
    • React (or Angular)
    • DevOps technologies (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Docker)
    • Cribl

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$131,800 - $290,000
