Summary

Business Analyst 

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support application modernization, upgrades, migrations, infrastructure, and other technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, supporting UAT/validation, and working with both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, workflows, processes, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
Develop current-state and future-state process documentation and perform gap and impact analysis.
Evaluate proposed technology solutions against business requirements and identify gaps.
Maintain requirements and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and coordinate UAT scenarios, test cases, validation activities, and defect tracking.
Support application releases, system upgrades, migrations, and production cutovers.
Assess stakeholder impacts and support communications, training, and user documentation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, Project Managers, developers, architects, vendors, and technical teams.
Track project activities, risks, issues, and dependencies and provide recommendations.
Use Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements, testing, defects, and project documentation.
Support post-implementation and regression validation activities.

Required Qualifications
Experience as a Business Analyst supporting complex technology projects.
Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and validation.
Experience developing current/future-state processes, workflows, gap analysis, and business impact assessments.
Hands-on experience with UAT, test scenarios, defect management, and requirements traceability.
Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliverables
