About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Product Manager to lead the modernization of our billing and payments platforms. This role will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our homegrown billing platform while enabling integrations with enterprise subscription platforms.
You will be a key contributor in a multi-year digital transformation initiative focused on simplifying customer billing, consolidating disparate systems, and improving upstream and downstream payment flows.
What You'll DoProduct Leadership & Strategy- Lead end-to-end product strategy for our in-house billing and payments platform.
- Define outcomes, structure the product roadmap, and align cross-functional teams on priorities.
- Shape the MVP and subsequent phased releases of the unified billing experience.
- Use insights, data, and customer feedback to drive decision-making and trade-offs.
Platform & Technical Ownership- Guide platform evolution and architecture at a high level (no coding required).
- Oversee integrations with subscription, billing and and payment platforms.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for business and leadership audiences.
Cross-Functional Delivery- Partner with engineering, design, analytics, architecture, and operations teams.
- Navigate matrixed organizational structures and manage dependencies across multiple product areas.
- Operate within Agile frameworks using Jira for planning and execution.
Execution & Outcomes- Support delivery of a unified customer billing experience across multiple channels and systems.
- Ensure the platform remains scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise systems upstream and downstream.
- Champion communication clarity - keeping stakeholders informed, aligned, and confident in direction.
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience- Proven experience as a Product Manager working in Billing, Payments, or FinTech environments.
- Strong ability to lead strategy for platform-heavy services.
- Comfort working with technical teams and discussing architecture at a conceptual level.
- Experience working in large, complex, cross-organizational environments.
- Strong communication: clear, concise, structured, and able to justify prioritization decisions.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with subscription billing platforms (e.g., Zuora)
- Exposure to payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
- Experience delivering multi-year, multi-phase platform programs.
