What you'll do...
Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain

Walmart, a global leader in the retail industry, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will lead complex engineering and continuous improvement initiatives that support automation adoption, operational optimization, and network-wide performance improvements. You will serve as a technical resource and project leader, driving data-driven solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service levels across the supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead complex process improvement and operational optimization projects with measurable business impact.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination, capacity improvements, and labor optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of engineering solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in industrial engineering methodologies, including work measurement, labor modeling, process simulation, capacity planning, and facility optimization.
  • Utilize advanced statistical analysis and root cause methodologies to solve complex operational challenges.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses to support automation, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Influence operational leaders and business partners to adopt best practices and standardized processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on engineering methodologies and improvement strategies.
  • Present recommendations and project results to senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and/or supply chain experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence principles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale process improvement or operational excellence initiatives that require cross-functional coordination resulting in significant operational or financial impact.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, process simulation, and engineering analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting automation implementation, facility design, or network optimization initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
